How Your Trip Works

Step 1 - Choose Your Lodge & Dates

Select Charles Lake (North) or Wylie Lake and choose your preferred trip length. Most guests stay 3-7 days, depending on group size and travel plans.

Step 2 - Floatplane Departure

Your adventure begins with a scenic floatplane flight into the backcountry. Once airborne, civilization fades quickly.

Step 3 - Arrival

Upon arrival, you'll unload gear, setup camp, and prepare for your first day on the water.

Step 4 - Fish at Your Pace

This is a self-guided experience. Fish early mornings, long evenings, or all day - it's your schedule.

Step 5 - Camp Life

Return to camp to cook, relax by the fire, and recharge for the next day on the water.

Fishing Season & Conditions

Operating Season: Late May to early October

  • Early Season (May–June): Cold water conditions with lake trout holding shallow and aggressive northern pike cruising bays.

  • Mid Season (July–August): Stable summer patterns; fish move deeper. Trolling and jigging become key techniques.

  • Late Season (September): Cooling water triggers aggressive feeding as fish prepare for winter.
